Director of Nursing

Oak Grove, part of the Greencroft Communities family, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department with vision, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for all clinical services and resident care.

• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing objectives, care standards, procedures, and staffing models.

• Recruit, hire, and onboard nursing staff, ensuring alignment with Oak Grove’s values and standards.

• Coordinate mentorship for new nurses during their first 90 days and provide ongoing support.

• Supervise nursing staff and conduct timely performance evaluations.

• Collaborate on departmental planning and budgeting to ensure quality care is delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Maintain compliance by participating in healthcare inspections, drafting corrective plans, and monitoring follow-up actions.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana (must be maintained throughout employment).

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent professional experience.

• Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) is highly preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
