The Capital Financial Planning department is seeking a self-motivated individual with proven experience in financial planning and analysis, encompassing areas such as capital budget development, variance reporting, project management, cost accounting, government contracting, and grants administration. The Financial Analyst II or Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with departments focused on construction and tenant improvement projects to enhance financial processes, and drive efficiency in our financial operations. Leveling will be based upon demonstrated expertise and skills, with a comprehensive background in financial operations and the department's strategic objectives. Enjoy flexible telecommuting schedule (mandatory sixteen working hours on-site, and 3 days remote) while as you support the administration of the Department’s programs and;
1. Participates in the planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of Authority-wide capital program budget; in collaboration with stakeholder departments, develops, reviews, summarizes and analyzes capital project projections and cash flows; and other ad hoc analysis.
2. Monitors, tracks, and analyzes actual performance against budget; drafts and/or analyzes budget proposals; develops, analyzes, maintains, updates, and distributes various periodic and ad-hoc financial reports and statements.
3. Performs financial analyses and statistical computations for various financial models, feasibility studies and cost allocations; verifies accuracy of financial information and cost charges to capital development and major maintenance projects.
4. Represents the department and Authority in interactions with internal departments, governmental agencies, tenants, service providers and the public; compiles information for and corresponds with federal, state, and local government agencies.

Requirements
Required Education, Training and Experience**:
- Financial Analyst II: Three years or Senior Financial Analyst: five years of progressively responsible experience in governmental budgeting, grants administration, financial analysis, or professional accounting and/or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in public or business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Education, Certification, and Licenses:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Public Procurement Official (CPPO), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
- Two years of experience in FAA grants administration or experience with federal, state, or military regulation interpretation and compliance.
The hiring salary for the Sr. Financial Analyst is a minimum of $97,450.
The hiring salary for the Financial Analyst II is a minimum of $90,288.
