Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Practice Manager, Clinical Director and Lead MD, functions as a clinic level supervisor, performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical management of practice and patient care.Ā  Provides safe, efficient, quality direct patient nursing care in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.Ā  In addition, performs administrative duties including quality monitoring, clinical supply management, supporting established clinic workflows and staff education. Under the direct supervision of the designated clinical staff member, the incumbent will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population, while maintaining high standards of care, and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life-threatening emergencies. Works in collaboration with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to ensure clinical standards are maintained.

Salary Range: $37.60 - $78.35 hourly

Required:

  • Possess active license issued by the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners with Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal certification.
  • Possession of active BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • 3+ years of LVN experience
  • Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed.
  • Ability to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to the physician.
  • Knowledge of symptomatology of common and or life threatening medical problems.
  • Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and all health providers
  • Performs phlebotomy, CPR, Injections, and other skills within scope of practice.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, Windows computer function,
