Roofing Estimator - Sacramento

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for a full-time Roofing Estimator. Our team is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction home builders throughout Northern California. Come join us!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing detailed and itemized material quantity estimates from owner or contractor furnished plan sets.

• Prepare quotations from architectural drawings.

• Perform clerical duties associated with keeping up filing and job folders,

• Read construction blue prints, drawings, plans and specifications and prepare estimates

• Gather and calculate take-off data from a digital take-off program

• Build and retain relationships with vendors

• Ensure thoroughness of estimates and help with ease of construction by field operations

• Keep and track bid schedule

Requirements

Preferred

• Education: High school diploma. College degree or some college experience preferable.

• Experience in estimating construction or architectural products

• Experience in reading construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated aptitude will be considered in lieu of experience.

• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
