Associate Program Manager

Resource Innovations is seeking an Associate Program Manager (APM) to join our growing team in Oak Brook, IL. As an APM with Resource Innovations, you will work in a dynamic environment, leading efforts to execute large scale commercial energy efficiency programs. You will support the management and execution of projects within day-to-day operations of the program, working cross-functionally across the implementation team to achieve/exceed KPI’s. Additionally, you will lead process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, quality assurance and quality control. You will analyze business processes, using process mapping, data analysis, and tools and collaborate with cross functional teams to write, train and establish policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for developing short and long-term implementation plans, leading program implementation activities, and reporting to support these efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivers successful energy efficiency programs to utility client(s) per contract terms and program budgetsIdentify process bottlenecks and collaborate with process owners to improve throughput
- Analyze business processes, using process mapping, data analysis and Lean/Six Sigma tools to improve operational efficiency, quality assurance and quality control
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to write, train, and establish policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and QA/QC metrics and KPIs
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to conduct Root Cause(s) Analyses, implement corrective and preventive measures
- Identify and establish policies and procedures
- Your work will support the improvement of financial forecast accuracy
- Supports the delivery of successful energy efficiency programs to utility client(s) per contract terms and program budgets
- Interfaces with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR to develop efficiencies to meet program needs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, or Business or related field
- 3+ years of experience in energy efficiency or a related field, commercial program experience preferred
- 2+ years of Business Analyst experience, or related Lean / Six Sigma experiences preferred
- Excellent project and program management skills
- Proficient in establishing job and work process flows
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy and within budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Positive, action-oriented attitude showing initiation and creativity
- Client service focus
- Ability to collaborate well at all levels within an organization and be a team-player
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
