ABOUT THE JOB

As a member of the Indirect Procurement team, you will be solely responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, and ensuring parts are delivered on time. This is an exciting opportunity to be apart a growing and dynamic team working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support the development and sourcing of cutting-edge defense technologies. You will work with the broader Supply Chain team to support strategic sourcing initiatives and planning.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers from onboarding to invoicing to ensure seamless procurement operations
  • Process Ownership: Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance and resolution of downstream issues for categories including R&D, Facilities Management, IT, MRO and services
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities while ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, HR, Facilities, Engineering) to understand needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
  • Conduct research, benchmark, and collect market data to ensure a best-in-class supply base
  • Place purchase orders and resolve downstream issues with receiving, finance, and accounting
  • Own the procurement process cradle-to-grave

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience, including Indirect procurement in a high-volume environment, with proven output
  • Familiarity with software procurement, IT procurement, or CAPEX procurement is a plus.
  • Background in Oracle, Coupa, or similar systems to manage procurement workflows.
  • Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
  • Proven success in navigating the challenges of procurement within start-up or high-growth companies, including managing ambiguity and adapting to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing VMI programs to improve inventory efficiency and reduce carrying costs.
US Salary Range$108,000$162,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
