Job Overview
Komatsu has a great opportunity for individuals interested in Human Resources. We are recruiting for an Intern - Human Resources for our Longview, Texas location for the Summer of 2023. This internship is a paid internship, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States to be considered.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Intern - Human Resources position provides administrative, technical, and clerical support to the Komatsu HR Department supporting Longview Operations. The position interacts routinely with employees and management.
Qualifications/Requirements
Work SAFE and be an advocate for Safety.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Enrollment in college/university with a major in Human Resources, Business, or related field or recent college graduate in related field preferred
Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Skill in effective verbal and written communication.
Skill in working in an office supporting several staff members.
Ability to interact with all levels of staff.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate a personal computer and various software packages at an advanced level.
Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work with confidential information.
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as fax, copying, and adding machines.
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
