Location: We are seeking an experienced Beverage Operations Manager for the Las Vegas Convention Center and the World Market Center.

The Las Vegas Convention Center is one of the largest and most renowned convention and exhibition venues in the world, located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Spanning over 3.2 million square feet, it is a premier destination for a wide range of events, including international trade shows, conventions, corporate meetings, and entertainment events.

Principle Function:

The Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage operations within a hospitality or food service establishment. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, maintains high standards of quality and service, and drives profitability through effective management of inventory, staff, and compliance with industry regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day beverage operations in all areas of the facility.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Monitor beverage quality and presentation to meet brand and guest expectations.

• Work closely with the culinary and service teams to create complementary food and drink pairings.

- Financial & Inventory Control:

• Manage beverage costs, pricing strategies, and profit margins to achieve financial goals.

• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.

• Conduct regular audits to minimize waste and prevent loss.

• Negotiate with vendors to source high-quality products at competitive prices.

- Staff Management & Training:

• Recruit, train, and mentor beverage service staff, including bartenders, Bar Backs & Runners.

• Foster a positive team environment through motivation and performance management.

• Ensure staff adhere to safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

• Develop training programs to enhance knowledge of mixology, wine, and beverage trends.

- Guest Experience & Service Excellence:

• Ensure outstanding guest service and satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.

• Develop and update beverage menus, incorporating innovative cocktails and seasonal offerings.

• Host tastings and special events to enhance customer engagement and revenue.

• Monitor and respond to guest feedback to continuously improve service standards.

- Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal alcohol laws and regulations.

• Implement and maintain proper sanitation and safety protocols in beverage service areas.

• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of bar equipment and storage areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience working in a Culinary Union environment, particularly in Las Vegas, is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in beverage management, preferably in a high-volume environment.

• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

• Experience with inventory management and cost control.
