**This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500.**

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be part of a knowledgeable family of caregivers that is constantly seeking ways to hone their skills in order to provide the best patient experience possible. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM - 3:30PM or 3:30PM - 11:00PM.  

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.  
  • Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.  
  • Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.  
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.  
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.  
  • Maintain documentation.  
  • Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.  
  • Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology 
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT)
  • Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 
  • Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Lifting or assisting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily
