Business Controls & Product Management (BC&PM) is a function in Danske Bank with the strategy and vision to centralize and improve the Bank's first line risk management procedures. Our operating model supports the three customer facing business units: Personal Customers (PC), Business Customers (BC) and Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting on the first line risk and control environment.
The Role
The Data Analysis & Automation team has the focus on designing controls to improve the controlling environment with the use of data. We constantly look for better and stronger solutions to ensure that we can deliver on our highly prioritised area – and we are now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
“You will be working closely with the business to improve our controlling across business units as well as finding the best solutions for our remediation cases - combining your data and business knowledge, describes your future manager, Thomas Bertram.
In close collaboration with the rest of the team, you will support the organisation in Business Controls & Product Management with solid analytics solutions. More precisely, your tasks will consist of:
- Creating data driven controls and automation.
- Supporting the existing controlling set-up by providing data and tools within the areas Operational, Data, Conduct, Suitability and Financial Risk.
- Creating transparency using analytics, highlighting key focus areas and challenges, and providing recommendations based on your analysis.
- Supporting the Remediation Projects team with data extracts and analysis and assist in calculation modelling.
- Participating in the development of robust data structures.
- Ensuring efficient stakeholder management while supporting data requests and analyses.
Data experience and great communication skills
Apart from relevant experience and knowledge, that will help you grow into the role quickly, you should also have a strong team orientation, as we all aim towards creating open and positive atmosphere in our department. You should be collaborative by nature and feel comfortable communicating effectively with people on all seniority levels.
In order to do well in this role, the below criteria should apply to you:
- Minimum 3 years of similar work experience with data and analytics.
- Proven experience in Alteryx, SQL or similar.
- Higher education.
- Full proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing.
