KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within the Grinding team, and collectively as part of the cold processing team, to proactively gather all ingredients to run daily production as efficiently and seamlessly as possible.
- Lift products onto conveyor belts throughout the duration of the shift.
- Place labels or other identifying signage on carts.
- Fill out production paperwork.
- Back-up duties include:
- Measure, weigh or otherwise count pet food products into appropriate amounts to adhere to requirements and specifications.
- Place meat/fish pet products on trays.
- Lift trays and slide onto carts.
- Pushing or pulling carts from or to production floor to designated location.
- Report issues with regards to the food safety/quality assurance system (FSQA) to Leadership and adhere to the requirements of the FSQA standards.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Perform all task requests, regardless of job level.

- Successfully pass annual testing for blood borne pathogens and lockout/tag-out.

- Complete department-specific training and other business-related applications by learning SOPs associated with your area of responsibility.

- Follow SOPs for your equipment or process without supervision
First 9 months:
- Learn set-up for your area under supervision.
First 12 months:
- Perform set-ups for your area without supervision and pass annual retests.
Ongoing:
- Champion and mentor others in Carnivore Culture behaviors.
- Consistently meet or exceed production goals.

- Learn SOPs for second machine or process.
- Consistently meet or exceed production goals for second machine or process.
- Learn how to do set-up for second machine or process under supervision.
- Perform set-ups for multiple machines or processes without supervision and pass annual retests.
- Train others how to do set-ups for multiple machines and processes.
- Become a specialist and/or technical expert in your area of responsibility!
