Your Job: The Manager Food Service provides for effective supervision of food service, cafeteria office, dishroom, dining room, and the cash safe, with emphasis on enhancing the quality of services provided. Your Job Requirements: Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred): N/A Related Work Experience and Other Skills: 6 months of cash handling preferred. Serve Safe Certified preferred. Your Job Responsibilities: 1. Collaborates with the Director to effect problem resolution or change in the department. Effectivly and Respectfully Communicates with management STAFFnd customers. 2. Oversees daily operation of food service, dishroom, daily reports, and all cafeteria employees. 3. The Manager assumes operational responsibility for the area in the absence of the Retail Manager. 4. Enforces and monitors cash control measures, also completes and monitors staffing schedules to meet budget 5. Creates a team atmosphere. 6. Maintains and controls sanitation and safety of areas of responsibility. Maintains sanitation and safety checklist monthly. 7. Assist new employees and co-workers with orienting, training, and cross-training. 8. Ordering supplies and food items 9. Documenting of employee's time and attendance 10. Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports 11. Able to perform any cafeteria position if needed 12. Able to operate any food service equipment within their area 13. Ensure all checkouts received are correct, including discount amounts 14. Maintain all Subway, Sonic, and Stone Willie's Pizza franchise agreements. 15. Maintains and enforces disciplinary policy of the medical center and the department according to established procedures.Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 262-bed, full-service, acute care hospital serving Tarrant, Johnson, and Ellis counties in North Texas.
