Business Continuity Lead - Financial Technology

This Business Continuity Lead is an integral role in the Global Business Continuity Program to partner with teams across a leading technology company to develop and exercise recovery strategies to keep the organization resilient during disruptive events. This is a senior-level role that reports directly to the Global Business Continuity Manager. This role requires a good understanding of adaptive business continuity planning strategy and business operations, with a heavy focus on financial regulation. This role will assist in maintaining and maturing the business continuity program to improve resiliency and protect our people, assets reputation.

The Business Continuity Lead position will focus on building out the business continuity plans for the client's financial technology program. Experience working in finance, financial technology, and regulated spaces is a requirement.

• Work closely with the Global Business Continuity Manager to develop and implement a transformative world-class BC Program for the client's financial technology space.
• Support Global Security Resiliency Team to implement program policy, guidelines, methodology, for developing cross-functional teams’ business continuity plans.
• Lead BC life-cycle engagement with Business Units
• Facilitate collaboration with teams and ability to informally influence cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate the development and execution of Tabletop Exercises.
• Contribute to the documentation and issuance of program calendars.
• Support the team to develop and facilitate presentations on business continuity to stakeholders of all levels.
• Develop and lead business continuity trainings and exercises.
• Track and report teams’ compliance with BC guidelines
• Input data, track metrics, and report on impact for the Business Continuity team
• Partner with key teams in Compliance, Regulatory Response and Audit to provide both comprehensive and timely updates on the client’s Resilience capabilities for all areas subject to Regulatory and or State Examiner Inquiry.
• Other activities as required.

The base salary range for this position in California or NYC is $158,000-$168,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162 and the NYC Wage Transparency Law.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 – 10 years of relevant business continuity experience. Industry certifications such as ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, ISO22301 Lead Implementer are preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working in finance or financial technology space.
• Experience with global Business Continuity standards and frameworks
• Ability to work well in cross-organizational and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking skills, effective interpersonal skills, strong formal presentation abilities, and strong project management experience
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau and Visio
• Ability to communicate effectively and adapt quickly.
• Experience working with a large global company.
• Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen and technical ability.
• Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change.
