Dishwasher/Cook Assistant - Part Time

The Windsor of Savoy in Savoy IL is an independent living facility for seniors. We are currently looking for a part-time Dishwasher/Cook Assistant. If you are a team player with a passion for cleanliness and a willingness to learn, this may be the opportunity for you!

This entry-level role offers the opportunity to build experience in food preparation, sanitation, and teamwork while ensuring every meal is prepared in a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

What You'll Do:

• Support both kitchen operations and dining room service.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards.
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming truck deliveries by unloading and stocking items in designated storage areas.
• Support cooks with basic food prep tasks and service duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and serving areas.
• Follow food safety and storage guidelines to ensure resident health and safety.
• Assist with closing procedures and maintaining a positive work environment.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to obtain ANSI Accredited Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Prior experience operating dish machines and kitchen equipment is a plus.
• A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, learn, and adapt with guidance from supervisors.

Schedule: (Some Flexibility Available)

• Sunday - 9am-230pm
• Monday - 2pm-730pm
• Tuesday - 12pm-730pm
• Wednesday - off
• Thursday - off
• Friday - 11am-730pm
• Saturday - 2pm-730pm

Pay Range: $15.42 - $24.00 (DOE)
