Position Summary

Our professionals guide clients in developing innovative solutions to mitigate compliance risks, including compliance risk assessments, reviews, monitoring programs, and digital solutions for efficient operations and improved decision-making. Specifically, our advisory projects include compliance risk assessments, the development and implementation of compliance reviews and monitoring programs, and the identification and implementation of digital solutions for more efficient operations and/or improved decision making through analytics.


Regulatory & Operational Risk: Navigate complex regulations and volatile environments to protect and create value, turning regulations into opportunities to accelerate performance.


Life Sciences & Health Care: Guide life sciences and health care companies through the complexities of the US and global health care systems, helping clients develop practical solutions amid market, political, and legislative changes.


Strategic Regulatory Policy and Scenario Planning Practice: Scale our practice in Life Sciences & Healthcare, focusing on global regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and health care policy and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams and staff in the development of client deliverables or internal business needs.
  • Serve as primary client contact or workstream lead on complex projects, liaise with client counterparts, and actively participate in discussions on project management and work delivery needs.
  • Lead the development of quality work products throughout the development lifecycle from initial conception to implementation.
  • Serve as subject matter advisor on client projects, providing recommendations to improve or transform processes to gain efficiencies and scale or reduce risk.
  • Engage with industry participants on market trends, competitive activities, and topics.
  • Lead specific discussions impacting the industry, potentially including with clients, industry consortiums, or trade groups or committees.
  • Lead internal business development initiatives and sales opportunities, including the creation of external-facing industry perspectives, lead generation materials, or sales proposals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business, operational, regulatory, and technology risks as well as risk mitigation strategies.
  • Jointly manage resources and project economics to meet business objectives within prescribed timeframes and budgets.
  • Support the recruitment, management, and retention of our talent pipeline, including serving as a professional development coach and performance manager to junior staff.
  • Understand the impact of key technology trends and workforce changes impacting our clients through engagement with innovative and emergent technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working and managing a team in the Regulatory function.
  • Operational compliance or regulatory management experience.
  • Experience in compliance program strategy and transformational initiatives.
  • Knowledge of processes, controls, and regulatory requirements in core areas.
  • Direct experience in people management, preferably leading cross-function project teams.
  • Strong project/program management skills, with a commitment to excellence in work product delivery.
  • Experience leading business transformation or change management initiatives.
  • Direct working experience related to business strategy, product management, regulatory compliance, risk management, controls oversight, technology, or operations.
  • Experience managing recurring fiscal year sales and revenue management targets.
  • Advanced aptitude with Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
