Behavioral Health Allies is dedicated to creating meaningful change for individuals with disabilities. Milestones Academy is our school-based program unlike any other, with curriculum and programming strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Milestones Academy provides year-round, academic instruction using progressive ABA programs for individuals aged 5 to 21.

*This position will help oversee the functions of the safe rooms and also the behavioral issues that occur on the school floor.

Hourly Pay Range

$20.00-$23.88

Mon-Fri 8:15a - 3:45p

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

· Will oversee the school by walking the floor and assisting with behavioral issues that arise

· Will keep safe rooms and cubicles clean and sanitized

· To always maintain a calm demeanor

· Will assist with the students arrival and dismissal daily routines

· May go on community outings to provide assistance should the need arise

· Will offer general support to staff and students

· Will keep a record of safe room log and ensure the timeliness of those documents.

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be proficient in interpreting data and writing reports

· Must have the ability to connect with individuals with disabilities

· Must have highly developed communication skills

· Must be able to balance professionalism and lightheartedness

· Must be a leader and able to work with various personalities

· Must be able to accept and be flexible with changes

· Must be able to pass all required background checks

· Must satisfactorily complete all required trainings

· Must have a safe and valid driver’s license

· Must display a professional appearance

· Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

· Move from one area on site to another quickly and without hesitation

· Must be able to get in and out of vehicles and assist students as needed

· Successfully perform crisis maneuvers as required by training courses
