POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers. This role requires a combination of skill and flexibility, as well as a willingness to work as a collaborative and inclusive member of a team. This role requires a compassionate individual with demonstrated communication skills and clinical proficiency.Planned Parenthood believes that reproductive self-determination and the right to privacy are core human freedoms. QUALIFICATIONS:● High School Diploma● Experience in customer service or health care preferred● MA Certification preferred, Phlebotomy a plus ● Experience with Epic SCHEDULE: ● Monday – Saturday; 40 hours a week, 8-hour shifts
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:● Consistently demonstrate appropriate service behaviors in interactions with patients and colleagues and practices In this Together and Service Standard values ● Actively contribute to an inclusive workplace culture by working collaboratively as a valued member of the care team● Proactively work to resolve conflict and perform service recovery, as needed● Administrative duties include answering phones, making appointments, taking messages, transferring records for patients, and ensuring completion of health center records and required forms● Perform patient medical and social history intakes and provide education as indicated for the services patients are seeking, as directed by the supervisor/clinician on duty● Complete basic lab work and follow procedures as required ● Provide patients with non-judgmental pregnancy options counseling and make referrals for services based on the patient’s choice● As
