Non-Negotiable Annual Starting Salary: $36,420.80
Paid Bi-weekly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be willing and able to work a schedule that is inclusive of weekends and holidays.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Successful completion of the employment screening process to include, but not limited to, a national background investigation and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
- Knowledge of AHCA daily minimum staffing requirements.
- Knowledge in preparing monthly work schedules.
- Current licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Florida
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that nursing staffing is maintained to provide care to the State Veterans’ Nursing Home according to Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs (FDVA) staffing standard and regulations governing State Veterans’ Nursing Homes. This position is under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON).
- Responsible for posting schedule.
- Maintain a daily-posted assignment schedule for licensed nurses and Senior Certified Nursing Assistants (SCNA).
- Compile and maintain cumulative staffing reports. Record requested leave time.
- Record/maintain in-house time keeping records that have been approved by supervisor and/or verified with DON.
- Maintain records of sign-in sheets.
- Compile and maintain PPD reports. Verify and compare PPD with time clock.
