Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
The Data and Analytics Co-Op will be part of the Rich’s Enterprise Data + Analytics Team. The Enterprise Data + Analytics team works with various business function teams and departments such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service & Logistics, Finance, and many others. Our goal is to provide data and analytical solutions to the business, leveraging best-in-class techniques, technologies, and processes.
You will have the opportunity to work on challenging business problems, build new skills (both technical and business), and see theory come to life by applying methods and techniques to real-world problems
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
The ability to learn and leverage Microsoft Azure technologies to build data pipelines and/or generate analytical models is expected. These technologies include Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure Machine Learning Services.
The Data + Analytics Co-Op will have the opportunity to cross over into both data engineering and data science work.
The ability to present results and communicate with data through storytelling and visualizations is especially important for this role.
The ability to work in a Scrum team environment will be critical as these teams require strong collaboration, communication, and agility daily.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or masters degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT (Information Technology), MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field is preferred. Other backgrounds are also acceptable as long as the applicant has strong quantitative skills.
- Strong in Python, PySpark, and SQL scripting skills
- Experience with Jupyter and Databricks notebooks
- Experience building, assessing, and deploying Machine
- Learning models is a plus
- Experience with PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, or similar data visualization technologies
- Experience leveraging version control and repository management systems (Git experience recommended)
- Strong problem-solving skills (Hypothesis development and testing is a plus)
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to quickly adopt modern technologies with a natural curiosity
- Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Self-driven, and action oriented

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
