Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced mobile developer to lead future development of our React Native (react-native) application
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean, modular code
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Refactor legacy features as needed
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Javascript experience
• 4+ years of professional React Native (or comparable mobile app development) experience
• Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
• Good understanding of React’s functional and class components and their lifecycle
• Familiarity with react-navigation and complex routing stacks
• Comfortable working with various yarn modules and discretion in selecting new ones (expo, react-navigation, sentry)
• Comfortable building and troubleshooting in Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience testing, releasing and deploying native applications in App Store and Play Store
• Comfortable switching between git branches, reviewing PR’s, resolving conflicts
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and token authentication principles
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Leadership qualities and discerning time management skills.
• BS/MS degree (Engineering/Computer Science), or related field.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$175,000—$250,000 USD
