Join ABM as a Project Manager / Valet Manager and lead a dynamic team while delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. This leadership position combines operational excellence with customer service, overseeing all aspects of valet and parking operations and daily and monthly reporting, while ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. This is for a residential building in Santa Monica, CA with 5 direct reports/valet drivers.
Salary: $68,640 Annually
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday daytime hours + Some weekends on need basis

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, hire, and train qualified valet staff to meet operational requirements
- Conduct performance reviews, driving evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions
- Motivate team members to consistently deliver exceptional service
- Prepare work schedules and manage payroll data within budgetary guidelines
Operations Management
- Oversee daily valet and garage operations to ensure smooth traffic flow
- Monitor and analyze traffic patterns to prevent injuries and guest incidents
- Conduct regular lot inspections and recommend functional improvements
- Process ticket counts, key counts, and vehicle tracking data
- Coordinate with clients regarding peak and off-peak traffic expectations
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives friendly, professional service through proactive greeting and assistance
- Personally assist guests entering and exiting vehicles when needed
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety
Administrative Duties
- Implement and maintain corporate service standards and procedures
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, signage, and uniforms
- Investigate and document incident claims with appropriate follow-up
- Ensure compliance with dress code, hygiene, and identification requirements
Required Qualifications:
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing, training, and developing teams
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Background in multi-task operations management
- Experience with budget preparation and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
- Proficiency in English for all job functions
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Capability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to stand continuously throughout full shifts
