Job SummaryThe Corporate Controller serves as the senior accounting leader responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls for the organization. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of the Company's financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. The Controller leads the month-end close process, manages the general ledger, and oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and tax compliance among other things. This position partners closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making, implement financial systems, and drive process improvements that enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities OverviewOversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAPEnsure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processesManager external audits, tax filings and regulatory complianceMaintain and improve internal controls to ensure accuracy, integrity and security of financial dataDevelop and enforce accounting policies and proceduresOversee project accounting and revenue recognition processes specific to client contracts and services deliveredCollaborate with client services teams to ensure proper time tracking, billing and revenue recognitionManage the accounting system and lead system upgrades or implementations as neededSupervise and mentor accounting staff and support professional developmentFoster a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability and continuous improvementServe as a key finance business partner to leadership across departmentsSupport due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions as applicable
Required QualificationsB.A. or B.S. degree required in Accounting or Finance CPA Minimum 7 years of experience (an accelerated career with progression preferred)Ability to work remotely Ability to travel occasionally for team meetingsAbility to work non-standard work hours as necessary
Desired Qualifications Public Accounting (Big Four or large Regional firm preferred) Large financial system experienceExperience with project / cost-based accounting (preferred) Experience working in a PE backed, high growth and acquisitive organization on the mid/large revenue size (preferred)Clear path of stable progressive growthStrong desire for success in a fast-moving organization
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:The estimated salary range for this role is $118,500-$262,500 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.
