What you’ll do
The Delivery Executive has primary responsibility for the delivery of SAP Consulting Projects and Services primarily in SAP UK and Ireland. You will act as the Customer’s implementation partner, identifying and driving project governance, goals & KPIs for the SAP delivery and the Customer program. The Delivery Executive works closely with all key SAP Account stakeholders e.g. Enterprise Customer Service Partners (E-CSP) Account Executives (AE), Global Account Directors (GAD) and Services Account Executives (SAE), Lead Technical Quality Manager (LTQM).
Additionally, but not limited to, the Delivery Executive will for example:
- Ensure SAP services are consistently delivered across projects and workstreams, taking into consideration project budgets and quality of the SAP engagement
- Provide advice and leadership to the Customer regarding project planning and general SAP project delivery execution by working closely with the Lead Technical Quality Manager (LTQM) and Enterprise Architect (EA)
- Agree project delivery prioritisation and planning with the Customer
- Advise on programme management strategy and structures, and definition of delivery strategies, policies, and procedures
- Proactively engage with and provide delivery status updates to senior and executive stakeholders. Capture customer feedback and recommendation and agree how these may be implemented within SAP’s project and service delivery
- Attend governance forums as agreed with the Customer. Typically, this would include quarterly business reviews, steering group meetings, programme leadership and change control boards
EXPECTATIONS
- Deal, Project, and Programme engagement.
- Support for pre-sales and set up of large and complex engagements or project portfolios at large accounts including strategic projects covering adoption of multiple Cloud solutions.
- Managing all project-based escalations and issues through to resolution, desirably in a manner where you are the escalation point and not the recipient of an escalation from senior management within your Programme
- Billable resource with 80% utilization.

- Consulting Revenue
Achievement of revenue plans as set out in the budget process for our Consulting Services in the Market Unit.
- Consulting Profitability
Achievement of profitability plans as set out in the budget process for our Consulting and Premium Engagement Services in the Market Unit.
What you bring
- Ability to act as a fully integrated member of the Cloud Delivery Management Team
- Willingness to work in a virtual team
- Capacity to lead and manage project and programmes through to completion
- Acting as a role model by setting the example with the project management community in the field
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively liaise with clients and partners at management and board level
- Agile Scrum Master or Agile experience of project delivery
- Experience as acting as a Program Manager for a Systems Integrator with project management experience in large scale, high risk, or strategic projects/program
- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams within a formalised methodology.
- Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bring projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree with several years’ experience in project delivery
- People management experience through the delivery of projects and programmes
- 7- 10 years of hands-on experience in project management/delivery of end-to-end engagements
- PMI certification or similar preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Language: English fluent, verbally and in writing
Mobility: willingness to travel (up to 100%)
Location: UK based, must be able to be onsite at UK Customers.
