Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to support the global finance processes within the Operations Finance team. This role will support both existing processes and work collaboratively with business partners to generate ideas and drive enhancements and innovations to streamline and simplify the ways we work. Specifically, this position is responsible for understanding, building, testing and training process enhancements within Operations Finance. The role will support standardisation of the financial aspects of manufacturing and distribution processes and reporting. The role will provide decision support at all levels in the organisation. It will support ensuring the compliance and governance of processes to ensure delivery of the accuracy of financial statements.  In addition, the successful candidate will support any AbbVie strategic projects (M&A integration, etc.)          

Responsibilities:

Generate innovative, efficient and compliant solutions to streamline and standardize Operations Finance processes and reporting.

Work closely with business partners to develop, document and support standardized processes that accurately incorporate business dynamics and new business requirements.

Ensure standardized global process deliverables are documented, aligned and compliant.

Review and validate any CIRs (Continuous Improvement Requests) submitted by Operations Finance and participate in the ranking process.

Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure adequate and appropriate resourcing levels to successfully execute deliverables
