The Clinical Pharmacy Lead - Pipeline monitors the drug development pipeline and works with key stakeholders in order to adequately predict, inform, and forecast the impact of the pharmaceutical pipeline.

The Clinical Pharmacy Lead is an integral part of the Clinical Strategies organization, working closely with business and clinical partners to forward-looking perspective into pharmaceutical trend and spend. This individual remains continuously up-to-date with emerging therapies by analyzing news, clinical trials, analyst sales expectation, and other resources in order to create an informed opinion on pipeline impacts. They then translate this clinical opinion into financial impact to the business via our modeling process, and tracks on impact post-modeling. This individual often develops corporate communications to be shared with senior leadership. This individual exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, and they use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years experience in managed care pharmacy
  • Prior forecasting experience
  • Must have an active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state

  • Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects

  • Thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment while still ensuring attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint

  • Expertise in working collaboratively and communicating with staff in different positions and all levels of management position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP)

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field

  • Experience with Microsoft Access & Microsoft Project

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$123,800 - $170,400 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
