Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Writer (m/f/x) in Poland/Kazakhstan (remote work) to develop comprehensive and user-friendly documentation that supports the internal IT services and processes within the organization.
The Technical Writer plays a crucial role in enhancing the usability and accessibility of Private Brands IT services, promoting efficient knowledge sharing, and ensuring that end-users have the necessary resources and guidance to effectively utilize the organization's internal IT systems.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Create clear user manuals for internal IT services, providing clear instructions and guidance to end-users.

• Develop catalog descriptions for data showcases, effectively communicating their purpose and features to users.

• Create a description of business processes and workflows in detail, documenting roles, responsibilities, and procedures.

• Structure and maintain the IT knowledge base in Confluence, ensuring information is easily accessible and up to date.

• Develop documentation and passports for reports and BI dashboards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Fill up passports with relevant business indicators and metrics, facilitating effective performance tracking.

• Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and usability.

Requirements:

•  Proven experience (2-4 years) working as a Technical Writer or Business Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into well-structured manuals.
• Proficiency in creating user manuals and instructional documentation for IT services.
• Experience developing and maintaining a knowledge base using Confluence or similar platforms.
• Experience with Jira 
• Experience developing business processes maps, schemes, flowcharts, etc.  in Miro, draw.io or similar platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Russian - is a must
• English: Upper Intermediate
