This role is vital for driving immediate impact across our European entities. You will be responsible for leading audits, managing complex reporting requirements, and ensuring robust financial compliance.</p> </div> <h2 id="job-responsibilities">Job responsibilities</h2> <div class="job-responsibilities content"> <ul> <li>Audit Leadership: Lead local statutory audits, ensuring audit readiness and managing the completion of financial statements and timely responses to auditor requests.</li> <li>Reporting & Tax Compliance: Oversee timelines for local statutory filings across multiple European entities. </li> <li>Month-End Close: Partner with Europe Controllership and FP&A teams to manage the month-end close process, reviewing work against tight deadlines.</li> <li>Internal Controls: Own key SOX controls and assist in the implementation of robust internal controls to mitigate fraud risk and ensure accurate financial reporting.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with regional finance teams and the India Shared Services Team to ensure accurate reporting. </li> <li>May require adhoc travel to Germany.</li> </ul> </div> <h2 id="job-qualifications">Job qualifications</h2> <div class="job-qualifications content"> <h3 id="technical-skills">Technical Skills</h3> <div class="qualifications inner-content"> <ul> <li>Experience: 7+ years of professional accounting experience with a strong background in Audit and financial control.</li> <li>Technical Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of both US GAAP, IFRS and HGB.</li> <li>Education/Certification: Qualified accountant.</li> <li>Language Skills: Fluent in German and English is required.</li> <li>Mindset: Highly proactive in identifying accounting risks and opportunities and implementing cross-functional solutions.</li> </ul> </div> <h3 id="professional-skills">Professional Skills</h3> <div class="skills inner-content"> <ul> <li>Tech Savvy: Familiarity with automation or AI applications within finance/accounting.</li> <li>Experience of local accounting in Germany.</li> <li>Software: Experience with PeopleSoft Financials.</li> </ul> </div> </div> <h2 id="important-things">Other things to know</h2> <div class="important-things content"> <h3>Learning & Development</h
