Quality Assurance Assistant

Allocation - Administration Santa Clara

Starting Compensation:

25.20 - 28.00 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

San Jose: North San Jose Center (In-person position)

Working Hours/Shift:

FT, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm/ 9:00 am–5:30 pm

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

Education: High School graduate or equivalent required.

Experience: Two (2) years of general administrative business or office experience are required.

License: Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The Quality Assurance Assistant handles diverse tasks including data entry, data analysis, and reporting, processing medical records requests, preparing for audits, correcting billing denials and managing document distribution. This role actively participates in the agency’s and SBHG’s Total Quality Management and Continuous Quality Improvement systems which support compliance with Joint Commission and other accreditation standards as applicable.

Division/Program Overview:

  • Administrative Office 
  • Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm PST 
  • Serves Adolescents ranging from ages 12 years -18 years

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 23.34 - 35.01. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
