Summary of Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the sale of men’s basketball season tickets and single and group ticket packages to area businesses, individuals, and local organizations. This position will also assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for increased attendance, and collaboration with student groups, alumni, donors, and sponsors with the end goal of creating an exciting game-day experience. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education;
• Regular admission into a Little Rock Graduate degree program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School;
• Ability to work the required hours of (FT50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the team to develop and implement a marketing plan for the season;
• Work to coordinate group experiences for Little Rock home games with local organizations;
• Work with Director of Development to plan Spectac UALR – Little Rock’s largest fundraising event;
• Oversee game day marketing plans;
• Help with annual ticket sales and fundraising initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Possess excellent written and communication skills;
• Possess excellent computer skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
• Ability to work with diverse populations of faculty, staff, students, and community members;
• Maintain an appropriate degree of confidentiality;
• Exhibit problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
