TxDOT’s Austin District Bridge Section is seeking a Transportation Engineer III, IV, or V to join our team in Austin, TX. We are looking for a Licensed Professional Engineer with a strong passion for bridge design, rehabilitation, and repair. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major projects across the district and make a meaningful impact on Texas’ transportation infrastructure
This position is for ONE Transportation Engineer III, IV, or V. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level, and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.
Salary Plan/Grade:
Transportation Engineer III: B26 ($76,530.00 - $129,430.00/yearly)
Transportation Engineer IV: B27 ($84,182.00 - $142,374.00/yearly)
Transportation Engineer V: B28 ($92,600.00 - $156,612.00/yearly)
