We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Staff Electrical PCB Designer specializing in Altium-based designs to join our dynamic engineering team in a temporary capacity for 3-6 months. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door within our high growth organization as the team continues to expand.  
This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of high-speed, analog, and high-power circuit design, combined with a proven track record of delivering complex PCB designs within tight deadlines and constraints.  The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in PCB design and layout. 

What you'll do:

• Design and develop complex PCB layouts for high-speed, analog, and high-power electronic circuits using Altium Designer. Circuits may include dense processors, memory, high speed communications, and other typical complex circuitry. 
• Collaborate with engineering teams to set specific design rules and execute space studies. 
• Manage PCB design documentation and work closely with manufacturing partners to resolve any PCB fabrication and assembly issues. 
• Create parts and maintain component libraries in Altium. 

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in PCB design and layout, specifically using Altium Designer. 
• Able to understand and implement design rules, standards, and requirements to produce consistent design outputs. 
• Extensive knowledge of high-speed digital, analog, and high-power circuit design principles and best practices. 
• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testing (DFT) standards. 
• Understanding of best practices for differential signaling, length matching, and impedance control.  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D modeling and mechanical integration of PCB designs. 
• Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) 
• Familiarity with PDN and SI analysis tools
