Raytheon is seeking a senior level Operations and Supply Chain manager who is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills who will be directly accountable for ensuring overall supplier and factory performance.  You must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier and factory management. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing Operations and Supply Chain strategies and plans for a team of both Supply Chain and Operations professionals focused on program execution.  You will have both MPMs and POMs reporting to you in this role. The MPM serves as the leader for all program’s supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional leads, and the Supply Chain organization. The POM serves as the leader for all program’s Operations activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional leads, and the Operations organization. You are also responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, Operations plans and enterprise objectives.  This position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and influence the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. The ideal candidate will have financial, contracting, operations and negotiating experience and have had project management responsibilities including, but not limited to Risk and Opportunity management, briefing in customer forums, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. 

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Overall material management for the program; maintaining statistical data related to the program health which includes cost, schedule, quality metrics and EVMS.
  • Participate in developing Estimate at Complete and Earned Value Management System (EAC/EVMS) packages and attend weekly reviews.
  • Focal point for annual and weekly material sales forecasting.
  • Initiate and maintain accurate On Time Delivery forecasts, Sales Forecasts, Sales and Operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans
  • Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.
  • Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including commonality.
  • Coordinate proposal activities for SCM and Operations.
  • Prepare and present weekly during Program Performance Reviews

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Supply chain and Operations experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
  • EVMS, Earned Value certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project)
  • Working experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Experience supporting/leading proposal efforts.
  • Experience working with Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Quality functions.
  • APICS Certification (CPIM, CPM) or equivalent
  • Existing Secret (or higher) Clearance
  • Reverse planning of schedules, scrum and 6Sigma
  • Successful history of working on development programs that transition into production (T2P)
