About the role

Job Description

The Early Career Program Manager will be responsible for developing the strategy, planning, implementation and management of high-caliber learning and development initiatives for emerging leaders.

This particular role will be focused on early career professionals, undergraduate intern, co-op, and recent grad programs across the US in all functions. The current program of focus for development and expansion is the Management Trainee Program. Focus on future programs include summer internships (field operations & corporate functions), Military/Veterans program and possibly a Functional Leadership Rotational Program. Additionally, this role will be critical in identifying, building and managing other future new programs for early career talent across Operations and all Functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and supports the development, implementation, and execution of on-boarding programs, training and development programming, special projects, and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives
  • Possesses a high tolerance for ambiguity and delivers consistently stellar results in a high-growth environment
  • Designs, develops and executes a series of engaging, high quality, innovative, and timely development experiences (programs, communications, events, meetings, workshops)
  • Incorporates our FAMILY values as a common theme throughout all programming and creates and develops new program elements to ensure inclusivity in all programming
  • Builds deep connections across the Talent/Leadership Development, People & Culture teams and with key Business Leaders
  • Solicits the insights of and validation from all key stakeholders into content and engagement strategies; continuously updates and aligns approaches where needed
  • Oversees the collection, compilation, and analysis of program success data with ability to prepare comprehensive statistical and narrative program reports and evaluations
  • Exhibits a roll up your sleeves mentality and is ready to assist other program team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in program, project management ideally supporting programs developing early career talent
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Comfort with managing multiple priorities and navigating changing needs
  • Strong collaborative mindset and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to travel during peak program times especially during summer intern months
  • Proven experience in program management, project management, administration, people leadership, or a related field within the Early Career / University Recruiting space
  • Experience and interest in working with early career populations
  • Experience developing and executing intern programs is highly desired
  • Knowledgeable in program management methodology and techniques; performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a business setting
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups and in high level meetings
  • Excellent problem solving, customer service, and time management skills
  • Experience planning and coordinating complex events
  • Skill in evaluating processes and developing improvement strategies, systems, and procedures
  • Possess high degree of proficiency with computer software programs (PPT, Excel).
