<p></p><p>As a <strong>Customs Brokerage Agent</strong>&nbsp;you play an important part in the&nbsp; coördination of of logistics flows.</p><ul><li>Do you already have a similar experience?</li><li>Are you fluent in <strong>English &amp; Dutch ?</strong></li></ul><p>If yes, continue reading!</p><p></p><br>Jobomschrijving<br><p></p><p>Are you detail-oriented with a strong understanding of international trade and customs regulations? <br>As a<strong> Customs Brokerage Agent</strong>,&nbsp;you are someone who can provide <strong>superior global logistics and trade compliance services </strong>to our clients.</p><p>Your expertise will help clients navigate complex regulations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of shipments.</p><p>Your tasks and responsibilities as a <strong>Customs Brokerage Agent</strong>:</p><ul><li>Ensure smooth and timely <strong>customs process flow</strong></li><li>Ensure accurate and timely <strong>data entry</strong> into our operational system</li><li><strong>Track and Trace</strong> Custom files and reporting</li><li>Key all air, ocean and truck files according to KPI and customer requirements in<br>compliance with all rules and regulations.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely <strong>client billing</strong></li><li>Understand all the elements of the <strong>import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure</strong> and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customers instructions and expectations.</li><li>Transfer customs declaration information from documents, or other sources into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration</li><li>Assist with <strong>verification of customs declaration information </strong>and the submission of such to the customs authority</li><li>Ensure <strong>compliance</strong> at all times to regulations</li></ul><p></p> <p>As a<strong> Customs Brokerage Agent</strong>, the following characteristics are important:</p><ul><li><strong>2 years of experience</strong> Within customs</li><li>Experience of the<strong> incoterms ,be able to calculate and apply</strong></li><li>Good knowledge of c<strong>ustoms brokerage process, customs legislation</strong> - especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin</li><li>Understanding of<strong> ocean, road and air documentation process</strong></li><li>Effective interpersonal skills</li><li>Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills</li><li>Good computer skills (<strong>MS Excel, MS Word)</strong></li><li>Fluent in <strong>English &amp; Dutch</strong></li></ul>
