About the Role:

We are looking for an Independent Pharmacy Partnerships Director to join our high-performing team and drive meaningful partnerships across community pharmacies and PSAOs. This is a strategic business development-focused role, with emphasis on growing strategic relationships, deepening client engagement, and enhancing pull-through on key programs and initiatives.

This role will be remote-friendly, but requires regular travel to partner meetings, conferences, and on-site strategy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the relationship management of independent and community pharmacy accounts, overseeing partner health and growth opportunities.

  • Lead the development and execution of proposals, new initiatives, and expansion strategies aligned with GoodRx’s business objectives.

  • Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders, including executives, operations, marketing, and pharmacy teams.

  • Identify and implement pull-through strategies that improve partner engagement, customer acquisition, and retention metrics.

  • Deliver world-class presentations and business reviews—both virtually and in person.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product, marketing, legal, analytics, and operations teams to bring solutions to life.

  • Monitor market trends, industry events, and competitor activity to inform strategic planning and identify new partnership opportunities.

  • Represent GoodRx at major industry conferences and trade events as a thought leader and brand ambassador.

  • Drive accurate and timely tracking of partner activity and pipeline progress using standard CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).

What We’re Looking For:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in retail pharmacy, healthcare sales, business development, or pharmacy operations/account management.

  • Deep understanding of the pharmacy landscape—including reimbursement, patient access, store operations, and consumer behavior.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships with measurable results in growth and performance.

  • Strong ability to translate strategy into action and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills—must be a compelling presenter and confident relationship builder.

  • Proven experience in proposal development, RFP response, and collaborative negotiation.

  • Core understanding of pharmacy pricing dynamics.

  • High proficiency in standard business technology: Google Workspace, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack).

  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time for partner meetings and conferences.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or pharmacy a plus.

All GoodRx employees are responsible for reviewing and complying with all Company safety and security policies and procedures, being vigilant and observant of potential security threats (including phishing attempts) and proactively communicating with the Security Team to raise any concerns.
