The position of Yardperson at our Belmont branch is a key support role, responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.

 

As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:

 

• Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
• Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment.

What you’ll bring to the role

As well as having experience in a similar role, you will also have the following:

• A current forklift & driver’s license (essential)
• Experience loading and unloading including knowledge of load restraints (highly desirable)
• A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
