Your Responsibilities
As a Category Lead - Facilities and Maintenance Expense for John Deere Facilities and Maintenance, located in Moline, IL, Waterloo IA, or Des Moines IA you will leverage supply management programs and processes to lead negotiations and manage relationships with Facilities and Maintenance suppliers. In addition, you will…
- Achieve value improvement in cost and economic footprint of our operations, supporting cost reduction and achievement of the company's supplier and supplier sustainability goals
- Lead cost reduction initiatives in expense facilities and maintenance categories across multiple factories and business units in Regional Procurement Center- West region
- Work cross-functionally with corporate and unit stakeholders in Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Operations, etc.

What Skills You Need
- 3 or more years of experience in supply management, engineering, and/or business work activities
- 3 or more years of being successful in a team environment
- 1 or more years of experience in supply management systems and processes, or history of work with supply management
- 3 or more years of experience with analysis and data-driven decisions
- 3 or more years of experience and strength with standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in Facilities and Maintenance fundamental processes
- Experience in negotiation, interpersonal communications, change management, and conflict resolution skills
- Cross-functional experience in multiple disciplines such as supply management, maintenance engineering, or operations
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communications skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, Tableau or other visual analytic tools
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Management, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Business/Management, or similar discipline or equivalent related work experience
