Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to to manage the general accounting in Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the month-end and year-end close process, including but not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, as well as preparing and approving balance sheet account reconciliations in an online tool (Blackline)

• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and local accounting principles and regulations

• Assist with tax audits and file tax returns ( Income tax , WHT , VAT ..)

• Support efficient and error-free intercompany processes and transfer pricing invoices

• Assist other accountants in other companies within the group and help with training new joiners

• Work with corporate tax team in collection of required data and calculations

• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance

• Additional tasks as assigned by the group and line manager

Requirements:

• Expertise in Polish accounting principles and practices - min 3 years

• Experience in auditing is preferred

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with SAP, Blackline and/or MS Office would be a benefit

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance . And must be authorized to represent the company with the local authorities ( Tax , FSs ..etc )

• Bilingual - Polish and English
