We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative, high-performance mobile solutions that enhance the customer experience and enable digital transformation.

In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize Android applications, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and backend developers. You will leverage modern Android frameworks, follow best coding practices, and mentor junior developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications for the Client's ecosystem.

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.

  • Integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and backend systems.

• Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-focused features on time and with high quality.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

• Quality & Performance

  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

  • Ensure applications meet high performance, security, and reliability standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging Android trends, tools, and frameworks.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 5+ years of Android development experience with a proven track record of delivering production-quality apps.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.

• Proven experience in Android app development with a strong portfolio of published apps or projects.
• Proficiency in Kotlin with clean, maintainable, and scalable code practices.
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, various Android OS versions, and handling multiple screen sizes and device configurations.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to backend services securely and efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with popular third-party libraries and APIs, including Retrofit, Glide, and Firebase.
