Purpose/Introduction
We are currently seeking a Customer Service & Logistics Manager within the Supply Chain organization in the Commercial business unit at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. This position is responsible for the administrative and functional management of the Customer Service & Logistics teams, which manage the order- to-cash processes for a group of diverse businesses in both domestic and export areas (including both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials, liquids & plastics). The Customer Services & Logistics Manager manages a staff of around 45 employees in a variety of roles, including Customer Account and Logistics Coordinators, Batch Account Coordinators and five frontline supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Develops and set goals and objectives for the work group in alignment with the strategic goals of CPChem and the Supply Chain organization
- Leads and supports Supply Chain digitization and sustainable growth projects (including commercialization
- of cPE, eCommerce digital project, SAP S4 implementation, GTPC, TMS, PO automation, etc.)
- Fosters environment that incorporates iCARE 2.0 pillars to achieve high team performance (including Speed of Trust, practicing accountability, and constructive conflict)
- Manages organizational changes, ensuring seamless customer service operations to support the team’s organizational capability
- Member of the Supply Chain leadership team. Represents SC in MNM team
- Provides leadership, training, mentoring and coaching to direct reports
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and guidelines, such as import/export, DOT, and corporate reporting compliance
- Leading change management efforts for continuous process improvements, customer service KPI metrics, CFS, developing benchmarks, and reporting results
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or Technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of work-related experience in Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, and/or Transportation
- Strong people management skills and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships Must have excellent oral and written communications skills
- Must be a self- starter who is able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Must possess the ability to develop & foster relationships with internal and external customers, sales personnel, plant and headquarters employees, and third-party service providers
- 5-10% travel required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience
- Prior SAP experience
- Experience with MS 365 Applications
