College Intern - Water/Wastewater

RK&K is hiring a College Intern for Summer 2026 to join our Water/Wastewater team in York, PA. Our interns will receive on-the-job training, mentorship and insight into various aspects of the consulting engineering industry from planning, study and design through construction phase engineering services on a variety of wastewater projects. This position will focus primarily on water and wastewater pumping station, force main and trenchless rehabilitation sewer design and construction management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with an interest in municipal wastewater conveyance design
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Participation in professional societies or extracurricular activities
- Applicable prior internship experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT
