Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RN Nursing Manager to lead our Medical Telemetry unit at a leading healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO. This is a full-time, day-shift position with a focus on ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and operational excellence.

As the Nursing Manager, you will:

• Oversee daily operations of the Medical Telemetry unit, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

• Lead and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budgeting to optimize unit performance.

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to clinical standards and promote a safe, high-quality care environment.

• Collaborate with leadership to achieve organizational goals and benchmarks.

• Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

• Address patient and staff concerns, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.

• Drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.

• Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri or compact state.

• Certifications: BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 30 days.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, or Clinical Nurse Coordinator).
