Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate Demand Forecaster to support our business in Mesa, Arizona.

This organization supports BGS-Government Planning, and the data analyst will apply statistical and other analytics techniques to assist with producing within the fast-paced environment of aerospace.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of data analytics as these positions will focus on working directly with the demand planning, new business, and the Asset management team to perform statistical and mathematical data analysis to enable the BGS business to meet their organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities:

• Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving

• Assess performance of models and analysis and confirm that business objectives were met
• Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment
• Build and manage data sets/modeling records to run models and simulations
• Identify process and system improvements and support business decisions
• Gather, clean, verify accuracy, and analyze data to develop and manage multiple data sets
• Run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects
• Analyze, manipulate, update and optimize models
• Use models to estimate resource needs
• Use tools, models and simulations to identify process and system improvements
• Assess supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Minimum 1 year of experience working on data collection and data analytics products
• Experience (paid or unpaid) in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Contracts/Negotiations, Financial Planning, Estimating and Pricing, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a relevant Engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Great communication skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment
• Programming experience in Python
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., R) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
• Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value
• Bachelor or Master in computer science, economics, quantitative finance, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field of engineering
• Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:
Entry-Level (GCB3I1): $59,500 - $80,500
Associate (GCB3I2): $70,550 - $95,450
