The Role
As a General Lawyer on our team you will be part of Kyndryl’s Cybersecurity, Privacy, Data & AI Legal team (“CPDA Legal”), a global cybersecurity, privacy, data, AI and regulatory legal team spread among the U.S., U.K. and four (4) EU countries and supporting a dynamic global business. The role would suit a candidate that has an international outlook and ability to interact with legal and business colleagues around the globe on a variety of cybersecurity, privacy and regulatory matters. Specifically, you'll be responsible for:
- Working on a wide range of cybersecurity, privacy and related regulatory matters in connection with the company's business, specifically related to: 1) Incident Response and Investigation, 2) Cybersecurity and Privacy Operations, 3) Regulatory Compliance and 4) Policy, Strategy and Governance relating to the foregoing topics
- Provide actionable legal advice and guidance to business teams, including members of the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), and relevant Kyndryl Global Practices, as well as members of the global legal department
- Managing and lead multi-stakeholder incident investigative and project teams and provide proactive advice in a creative and business-centric way.
The compensation range for this position in the US is $154,710 to $371,300 to based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off. Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Who You Are
An ideal candidate will have some understanding of existing and emerging global legal and regulatory developments relating to cybersecurity, data privacy, and governance and artificial intelligence (AI) and be genuinely interested in developing expertise in these increasingly important fields. To be successful in this role you'll have the following experience and skills:
- JD from an accredited law school or equivalent international law degree
- Licensed to practice law in applicable jurisdiction
- 3+ years of legal experience, either in-house, with a law firm or a combination of both
- Strong analytic skills and project management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to work as part of diverse and multi-cultural teams comprised of legal and business colleagues
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience & skills:
- Understanding of US, European and/or international cybersecurity, data privacy and governance, AI and cyber resiliency principles, laws or policies
- Experience in the IT, outsourcing, managed services provider or cloud computing industries
- Relevant experience and/or a degree in the engineering, software, computer science and/or digital forensic fields
- Additional language skills
