As our Production Senior Manager you will manage our production operations, ensure continuous improvement, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency together with your team.

At our high-tech production facility in Præstø on the east coast of Zealand in Denmark, you will become part of an organization of about 100 colleagues within production, operations, supply chain, and administration. We are part of GN Store Nord, which has its global headquarters in Ballerup.
You will also be part of the local management team and make sure we can continue to transform lives through the power of sound.
You will work in a quality-conscious, safe, developmental, and collaborative work environment, where the pace is high, as part of an international conglomerate.
At GN Hearing, we create advanced hearing aid solutions to improve the lives of people with hearing challenges. It all begins at Component Manufacturing in Præstø, where we produce essential components that contribute to the quality of our hearing aids. Therefore, our ability to deliver is vital.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Assist Production Director/Head of Production with managing various production activities.
Planning, directing and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets and quality standards.
Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, etc. as input to development production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources.
Planning, prioritizing and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.
Teambuilding to enhance morale, cohesion and spontaneity.
Ensure lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Operations, R&D, Quality and People & Communication.
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet performance targets.
Mentor and develop production supervisors and frontline teams.
Constant effort in working on cost control and cost reduction.

To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have:
A higher educational background at bachelor level or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related fields of studies.
Solid experience in production, operations-, or manufacturing management with some years in a senior leadership role within an international environment.
Experience in leading teams to operational excellence and improvement.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and safety protocols.
Lean Six Sigma or a similar process improvement qualification.
Proficient in identifying problems and developing effective solutions.
The ability in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to manage stakeholders and deliver clear, compelling messages.
Demonstrated initiative and flexibility, with a result-oriented mindset and structured work habits.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle).
Are fluently in written and spoken English and you are comfortable communicating with others.
The ability to meet the travel requirements to our assembly factories in China and Malaysia, which can be coordinated in advance.
