Senior Network Operator

Two Six Technologies is looking to add a Senior Network Operator to our team. As a network operator, you’ll use your technical experience to solve some of the most challenging technical and intelligence issues via performing in-depth protocol analysis for computer network operations. 

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide cutting-edge analytic expertise against high-priority customer problems to tackle complex network and protocol analysis problems
• Characterize and develop detection methodologies for network traffic of interest
• Identify anomalous traffic and vulnerabilities in networks
• Analyze metadata and other collected data enabling full-spectrum operations
• Develop strategies with the client to identify data of interest
• Conduct target analysis and research utilizing multiple data sources
• Use information gathered from open-source resources to identify exposed or compromised information, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
• Perform analysis and operations to strengthen information system security, identify potential intrusions and vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct full spectrum operations to include identification of vulnerabilities and testing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in network operations, network traffic analysis, or network security analysis
• Five years of network security experience supporting the DOD or other government agencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field of technical rigor
• Willing to travel CONUS & OCONUS for 2 weeks per quarter
• This position requires a TS/SCI with a polygraph

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge of network discovery methodologies
• Demonstrable knowledge of programming languages, including Python or C++ for task automation and data manipulation
• Knowledge of complex telecommunication network architectures
