PURPOSE
This administrative position will help administratively support the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
AT Program Management: 50%
Athletic Training Program Duties:
Administrative support for the MS in Athletic Training Program.
Assist the AT Program Director to manage student application files.
Respond to student inquiries about the program requirements and assist with facilitating meetings with faculty mentors.
Assist the AT Program faculty with ordering supplies to maintain the program.
Receive purchases (including ensuring all goods are delivered) for Purchasing and Central Receiving.
Assist the AT Program with maintaining national accreditation annual assessment reports (maintaining records regarding faculty salaries, continuing education related expenses, tracking program purchases, etc.).
Assist the AT Program Director with gathering, evaluating, and assessing program outcome data to maintain accreditation.
Assist the Athletic Training Club in conjunction with an overseeing Faculty Advisor
Assist with inventory management for the AT Program
Assist the AT Program faculty with travel and reimbursement requests.
Other duties as assigned.
Administrative: 30%
Fielding incoming telephone calls from the main phone line.
Greet and direct students and visitors.
Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for the Athletic Training Program Director and AT Faculty.
Submit work orders for maintenance.
Schedule rooms in Astra for special events or meetings.
Open and distribute daily mail for faculty.
Work effectively with other Department Administrative Staff and Department Faculty.
Other duties as assigned.
Operations: 20%
Prepare course schedules in Banner and process reports from Argos
Enter permissions in Banner for all majors each semester
Confirm faculty textbook adoptions and desk copy orders
Receive and review faculty syllabi for submission to the Dean’s office
Arrange and/or assist with travel (faculty, student, incoming guests) using Concur
Assist with fiscal activities, such as purchasing, P-Card, and reconciling accounts using advanced spreadshee
