Provides specialized service to the customer by processing orders in a timely manner via telephone, fax, email and in person.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Processing customer orders in a timely manner by entering sales orders, work orders and purchase orders.
· Providing quotes as requested by customers.
· Assisting customers in resolving technical and logistical questions and problems
· Entering new customer information in computer database
· Maintaining current customer information in the computer database (Prelude)
· Issuing RGA’s for customer returns
· Working with vendors to acquire pricing and technical information as needed.
· Expediting customer orders
· Filing customer purchase orders and other correspondence to maintain appropriate records

Requirements
COMPETENCIES:
· Proficient in fluid power systems
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Must be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats.
· Highly organized
· Good follow through
· Proficient in the use of office equipment including copier, scanner, and fax.
· Works independently and can prioritize workload appropriately.
· Team player
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED
· 2 Year fluid power degree or equivalent experience
· Must be 18 years of age or older
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for long period of time.
- Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
- Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
- Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person.
- Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around an office environment.
- Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response.
- Additional Mental Requirements: compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Office hours average 40 per week
