We’re now searching for a Logistics & MHE Analyst to join our high-performing Supply Chain team. This is a critical role for someone who thrives on data, insight, and cross-functional collaboration—supporting everything from store fulfilment performance to warehouse planning and national freight cost control.
About the Role
Reporting into Supply Chain leadership, you’ll be a key driver of data-backed decision making across logistics, warehousing, transport and MHE (Materials Handling Equipment). You will:
- Analyse and report on national B2B store fulfilment performance, comparing forecasts vs. actuals and delivering actionable insights.
- Drive financial analysis and cost performance reporting across multiple Distribution Centres nationally.
- Lead the monthly forecasting cycle for MHE requirements and logistics cost lines.
- Deliver clear, concise and value-driven weekly/monthly business performance presentations.
- Build and publish timely, accurate reports on freight, warehousing, and transport spend.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to challenge assumptions, validate performance drivers, and support strategic decision-making.
- Champion automation and process improvements to enhance reporting speed, accuracy and clarity.
- Manage monthly budget reconciliations, variance analysis and performance tracking.
- Support budget planning for freight and warehouse operations with strong modelling and insights.
- Help maintain Chain of Responsibility compliance, contribute to national pallet governance, and promote safety across the network.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies for logistics optimisation initiatives, delivering clear recommendations to management.
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s not only technically sharp, but commercially aware and operationally grounded. You bring:
- Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Advanced Excel or BI tool skills (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- A strong eye for detail with a drive for continuous improvement and automation.
- Excellent communication skills—you can turn data into clear business stories.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments (retail or FMCG a plus).
