About the PositionGood models require good data. The Data Acquisition Lead blends art and science to help customers, partners, and prospects build and deploy quality machine learning models. As the team leader of a growing part-time team this position serves as a player-coach, coordinating and assigning resources including themself to a variety of tasks in support of company growth. The Data Acquisition team delivers core services including; Contract labeling services for Indico Customers, Pre-sales POC & Pilot project work and R&D task support.

Requirements

• Familiarity with web-based applications
• Previous experience labeling data for an organization
• Highly collaborative
• Strong communication, written and verbal
• Previous experience in a manager or role with multiple direct reports

• Background in finance or insurance industries
• An interest in machine learning or software engineering

• Experience with Slack
